In 2012 and 2013, numerous online fads and so-called internet sensations have taken hold. You only need to look at the huge success of PSY’s Gangnam Style to realise that the internet now gives a platform for the world’s very best show-offs to, well, show-off – be they talented or otherwise. February 2013 saw not only the release of the new Wheelwright Alloy Wheel Collection (excuse the plug!) but also the latest craze to sweep the world: the Harlem Shake. Whilst this trap house record by Baauer has been around for some time, it has taken until the early part of this month for people to start posting 30 second clips of them dancing (mentally) and performing to the introduction to the record – all of which have taken the world by storm!
Although we’re yet to do our own Harlem Shake video, we’ve rounded up some of the best the net has to offer from the Automotive Industry. As it is Friday, we thought we’d share them with you and give you a one stop shop of procrastination.

We all know Drifting has taken the world by storm in the motorsport arena, but have you ever seen drifting with a Unicorn & Deadmau5 amongst other characters? We haven’t… yet:
One of the biggest automotive related Harlem Shake videos comes from Texas Custom Car Imports who filmed this during one of their car meets – we like this one a lot!
One of the most shared Harlem Shake videos including cars is the ‘Harlem Shake – Hoonigan Style‘:
Rolling in Bentleys tends to be reserved for footballers, hiphop stars and the wealthy CEOs – not in this case, however, as Elmo and friends shake it up epically in this Bentley Continental soft top!
Our favourite represents over $10 million of automotive treasure, including Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Porsches and Bentleys – whoever owns these and allowed this to be filmed here is nothing short of a legend! We particularly like the way the Lambo’s doors get involved in the shake off… and the way it is started by what seems to be Top Gear’s Stig!
We hope you enjoy this compilation of videos and that it’s helped you get through today – it might even encourage more harlem shakers with cool cars to get their cameras out! Which is your favourite? Leave a comment below and share the love.
